The subdivision of this large 130Ha lot will see 49 Rural Residential Lots of 2ha in size being released over 3 stages. This application involved the coordination of: ecologists, bushfire ecologists, civil engineers, urban designers and surveyors. The development assessment process required the referral to the state government in relation to the clearing of 65ha of regulated vegetation and 25ha of unregulated category x vegetation. Our design resulted in 39.52ha of environmentally sensitive regulated vegetation being retained via environmental buffers which will form part of future public open spaces. The project is now approved and moving onto detailed civil design.
