HEIDI MCPEAKE

Heidi has more than 10 years of town planning experience across northern Queensland. She has strategic planning experience having started her career with Department of Transport and Main Roads and then moved into the private consulting.

Heidi has over a decade of private consulting experience having worked in a larger consultancy (GHD) working on large scale infrastructure projects and then started solo consulting in 2012. During this period, Heidi has been working with a large Cairns based developer, delivering some of the transforming residential and social developments. She transferred her skills and knowledge in the creation of McPeake Town Planning.
Heidi has been working on a wide range of projects from: small and large subdivisions, residential, social, industrial and commercial development projects across northern Queensland. When she isn’t in the office Heidi, manages three children or enjoying the open spaces of northern Queensland.

JAMES MCPEAKE

James is truly a multi-disciplinary individual. Having worked as a town planner in Cairns and Townsville for the following state government departments: Transport and Main Roads, Natural Resources and Mines and Environment and Resource Management. James has also worked as a town planner with a local government in the region. He has significant knowledge in the following areas: site selection, development feasibility, development management, statutory development assessment, vegetation management, state land asset management, land subdivision and surveying technology. James loves to assist clients with end-to-end property developments from: site selection, feasibility, developing, development assessment and management to new titles being issued or use commencing. James has been on all sides of the desk for developments big and small. His experience, networks and understanding benefits you, our clients. When not in the office James enjoys spending time with his family, barbecuing and walking his dog, Jock.
